About Us

Challenge Chemicals is a leading West Australian based chemical manufacturer, with experience in manufacturing dating back to 1975.

That’s over 40 years in manufacturing experience. Starting off with a handful of employees we have grown and developed our business to where we are now a major supplier to the mining, transport, marine and general industrial sectors along with the hospitality, healthcare, textile, food processing and water treatment industries. We also manufacture speciality chemicals sold under brand names supplying products all over Australia and overseas.

Our manufacturing plant and warehousing is located in Kwinana Beach, Western Australia with head office and Process Chemicals base located just a short distance away in Henderson. Challenge Chemicals are proud to hold and have held for many years, certification of BSI ISO 9001 2015 for Quality Management.

Challenge Chemicals is a family owned and operated company with three generation of experience working within our group of companies. Challenge Chemicals is now led by managing director Martin Cattalini and supported by Ben Cattalini as operations manager.

Process Chemicals is the sister company of Challenge Chemicals and the two companies work in partnership to offer a level of service, experience and expertise no other company can provide. Together our group of companies have worked on or serviced many of Australia’s largest projects and facility operations.

Challenge Chemicals was founded on the mantra of “Service with Products of Technology” and today this is still the corner stone of our company’s philosophy. Our focus remains on developing and testing products and equipment while providing our customers with outstanding service and safety.
