DESCRIPTION & BENEFITS
NU ANTIBAC is an acidic bactericidal liquid designed to removal iron bacteria, slime and organic deposits from wells.
Benefits
- Kills iron bacteria and dissolves iron bacteria deposits, slime and hardness scales.
- Maintains sulphides, iron and manganese oxides in suspension until pumped from well.
- Improves water taste previously affected by bacteria and increases well production rates.
- Contains a wetting agent to aid penetration and improve cleaning efficiency
Designed to removal iron bacteria, slime and organic deposits from wells.
Litres NU ANTIBAC / Metre of Well Water
Well Diameter (mm) 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300
Light Deposits 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 1.8, 2.8, 4.0
Heavy Deposits 0.2, 0.5, 0.9, 2.0, 3.5, 5.5, 8.0
- Disconnect the well from the reticulation system. Pour required amount of NU ANTIBAC into the casing. The pump may be left in place. Periodic surging with the pump is highly desirable over the treatment period of 36 hours. If the pump has been removed intermittent bailing or swabbing is necessary.
- After 36 hours the NU ANTIBAC solution can be pumped to waste. It is important to pump and surge NU ANTIBAC alternatively until the water is clear and water pH and hardness return to their original levels.
- Adequate flushing of the well is necessary to ensure that residual acid salts concentrations are reduced to safe levels.
- The intermittent pumping/surging aids in the removal of undissolved scale and deposits.
- Should iron bacteria re-appear at a subsequent date after cleaning with NU ANTIBAC, subsequent treatments with reduced amounts of NU ANTIBAC, two or three times per year should maintain the well iron bacteria free.
