DESCRIPTION & BENEFITS
CLAYSPERSE aids in the removal of metal oxides, bacteria and hardness salts from the casing, pumps and screens for the cleaning and development of wells.
BENIFITS
- Solubilises and maintains in suspension “fines” for removal by pumping out.
- Penetrates into the water bearing formation and disperses clays blocking the aquifier.
- Speeds up the development of new wells resulting in increased water production with less development time.
- Claysperse can be used with other chemicals normally employed in wells.
- Claysperse is non corrosive and non flammable and safe to use
DIRECTIONS
- Disconnect the well from the reticulation system and pour 25 litres of CLAYSPERSE for every 40 metres of total well depth.
- Agitate the well water by surging or swabbing every 30 minutes for three to four hours. Ensure that water is not pumped out if using the pump to surge the well water. When developing new wells, leave CLAYSPERSE in overnight or for 12 hours.
- When rehabilitating a well, optimum results are obtained by leaving CLAYSPERSE in the well for up to a week before pumping out.
- Due to inclusion of a wetting agent for improved penetration into the aquifier, foaming may be observed for several days when pumping out. This indicates the extent of the penetration of CLAYSPERSE into the aquifier. This water may be used for irrigation if needed.
Warning
Avoid eye contact.
First Aid
If poisoning occurs contact a doctor of poisons information centre PH 13 11 26. If swallowed do not induce vomiting and, give a glass of water and seek medical advice. For eye contact, irrigate with water for 15 minutes and if irritation persists seek medical advice.
