DEGREASER XL

DESCRIPTION & BENEFITS

DEGREASER XL is a hydrocarbon solvent based degreaser for the rapid removal of oils, grease and temporary metal protective coatings. DEGREASER XL has a blend of hydrocarbons and emulsifying agents for quick penetration and heavy duty degreasing.

Where to Use

Heavy duty degreasing off engine and parts. Part
soaking for degreasing.

MAINTENANCE CLEANING
1. Apply neat by brush, spray or soaking – allow 5-10
minutes contact time.
2. Agitate if possible.
3. Use high pressure cleaner or hose off with fresh
water.

ENGINE CLEANING and PARTS CLEANING
1. Use an open top vessel and soak part in.
2. Allow from 10 minutes to up to 2 hours depending
on soilage to be removed.
3. Remove parts and allow degreaser to drain back
into bath.
4. Flush parts with high pressure water and blow dry
with compressed air.

METAL CLEANING
1. For precleaning of metal during manufacturing or
prior to electroplating apply DEGREASER XL by dip
or spray.
2. Allow 2-5 minutes contact time and rinse off with
water.

Warning

Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Extinguish all ignition sources.

First Aid

If poisoning occurs contact a doctor of poisons information centre. PH 13 11 26. If swallowed do not induce vomiting, give milk or water and seek medical advice. For inhalation, remove patient to fresh air, lay down and rest and seek urgent medical attention. If skin contact does occur remove contaminated clothing and wash thoroughly with water. For eye contact, irrigate with water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists seek medical advice.
